STEAM Tourism Survey
Thank you for your cooperation in providing valuable tourism data for the previous STEAM reports.
Tourism data across the UK is collated using a standard method (STEAM) so that we can compare and contrast destinations.
Collecting up to date data is so important for Conwy, as it is used to attract and inform investors both in retail and tourism. Demonstrating how buoyant our county is, really does help to bring in new funding and businesses into the area, which benefits us all.
The data we ask for is only based around visitor numbers, and we do not ask or look for any commercially sensitive information from you. The data you supply will make up the Conwy section of the STEAM report. Your individual data will not be shared with any other organisation.
There are five categories covered by the STEAM survey:
- attractions
- camping and touring sites
- self-catering accommodation
- serviced accommodation
- static caravan sites
The information we need from you is quite basic. You can provide it by completing our online form.

We will share the STEAM 2023 report as soon as it is published.
