Due to a change in legislation by the Welsh Assembly Government in all cases from the 6th April 2020 the maximum charge that can be made by Conwy County Borough Council is £100 per week.

Non-Residential Services

£100 Maximum Weekly Charges

Costs are worked out according to your financial position and the amount and type of service you get each week. The full charges from the 3rd April, 2023 are:

  • £23.76 an hour for care at home during the day; and
  • £23.76 an hour for care overnight

Day services

Costs are worked out according to your financial position. The full charges from the 3rd April 2023 are:

  • £22.36 a full day
  • £11.18 for half a day

 

Residential Services

How much do I have to pay?

The amount you would be required to pay depends on a number of factors, including:

  • Whether your stay is a short respite break or a longer stay
  • Whether you have a partner still living at home
  • Your weekly income, including your pension
  • What other allowances you may be entitled to
  • The amount of your savings and other assets
  • Whether or not you own property
