We take dog fouling offences very seriously, but it’s not always possible for us to witness dog fouling offences.
If you would like to take a stand against dog fouling in your community, you can report irresponsible dog owners who allow their dogs to foul, and don’t clean up after them to Environmental Health.
Provide as much of the following information as possible:
- the day, date and time the offences are being committed
- the locations where the offences are being committed
- a description of the dog (breed, colour etc.)
- a description of the owner or person responsible
- if they are using a car, a description of the car and the number plate
If we have enough information about the person responsible we will try to identify them. So the more information you provide, the more likely it is the offenders will be caught.
