Submitting Electronic Searches
Submitting an electronic search is straightforward. Once you have completed a simple registration form, you will receive a user name and password, then you can order your search.
What to submit with your search
To avoid delays, you must submit plans with your search. Plans must show the clearly marked boundary of the property and the surrounding roads and properties. Please remember to include all optional and additional enquiries when submitting the search.
Fees and how to pay
Local Land Charges Fees
Our electronic search fee (LLC1 & CON29 (R)) is £100 including VAT.
Searches are paid for by monthly invoice which you can pay electronically (BACS) or by debit or credit card.
Response Time
We aim to process and return your completed search within 2 to 4 working days.
You will receive your search results electronically.
We also provide a free Council Information Pack with all full search results. It includes information and contact details of the Council's services which may be helpful to people who are moving house.
