Course aims and objectives

The session is aimed to provide learners with the statistics and information in relation to male victims and the additional challenges and barriers they face.

The outcome is for learners to have a good level of awareness, the ability to recognise, record, respond and refer whilst giving them the tools to do so.

  • Module 2: Domestic and partner abuse against men - what it looks like
  • Module 3: The signs of male domestic abuse
  • Module 4: Barriers and stereotypes
  • Module 5: How to respond
  • Module 6: Supporting and safety planning
  • Module 7: Summary
