The County Borough Of Conwy (Prohibition And Restriction Of Waiting & On Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2006 (Amendment No 1) Order 2025 - The Parade Llandudno
The Conwy County Borough Council (hereinafter referred to as "the Council") in exercise of its powers under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (her-einafter referred to as "the Act of 1984"), and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act of 1984 hereby makes the following Order:-
- 1. This Order shall come into operation on the day of Two thousand and twenty five and may be cited as "The County Borough of Conwy (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting & On Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2006 (Amendment No1) Order 2025 – The Parade Llan-dudno ".
- 2. (1) In this Order:-
- (a) The County Borough of Conwy (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting & On Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2006 is hereby amended insofar only as Schedules 1, 3, 4 and 6 are amended to include that length of The Parade Llandudno as specified in the Schedules below.
- “Commercial dispensation certificate” means a certificate duly issued on behalf of the Council for the purposes of Article 25 permitting a specified Vehicle to wait in specified circumstances on a length or lengths of road where the waiting of that Vehicle would otherwise be restricted
- “Motor Caravan” means any motorised caravan caravanette campervan or any other mechanically propelled vehicle which has been made or converted as a camping vehicle or to sleep in.
- “Cars and Light Vans” means Motor Car as defined in Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regul-ations 1986; or has the same meaning as motor car in Section 185 of the Road Traffic Act 1988.
- 3. The prohibition and restrictions imposed by this Order shall be in addition to and not in derogat-ion from any restriction or requirement imposed by any regulations made or having effect as if made under the Act of 1984 or by or under any other enactment.

Roads and Streets: The Parade
- Exemption: Allows free parking within the CPZ
- No. of permits issued: 1 per Hotel Manager/Owner of any hotel on the street named that do NOT have access to off-street parking
- Exemption: Hotel Guest Pass
- No. of permits issued: 4 per Hotel (not for use by Hotel staff) on the street named

- Column A: The Parade (between Ty'n y Ffrith Road and Nant-y-Gamar Road, a distance of approximately 600 metres)

Controlled Parking Zone
- Length of Road: The Parade, Llandudno; between Ty'n y Ffrith Road to Nant-y-Gamar Road a distance of approximately 600m
- Position in which vehicle may wait: Wholly within a parking bay (where such bays are mar-ked) or as dir-ected by a Civil En-forcement Off-icer.
- Class of vehicle:
- Cars and light vans and Motor caravans (as defined in Article 2):
- Charging times, Monday to Sunday (inclusive): 10am to 4pm:
- Scale of charges:from 1 May - 30 September:
- Up to 4 hrs £5.50
- Over 4 hrs £7.50
from 1 October - 30 April:
- Up to 2 hours £2.40
- Up to 4 hours £3.80
- Over 4 hours £5.40
- Maxium period of waiting: No restriction
- Cars and light vans (as defined in Article 2):
- Charging times, Monday to Sunday (inclusive): 4pm to 10am:
- Motor caravans (as defined in Article 2):
- Maximum period of waiting: Not Permitted 11pm to 8am

Charges for Disabled Blue Badge Holders
- Length of Road: The Parade, Llandudno; between Ty’n y Ffrith Road to Nant-y-Gamar Road a distance of approximately 600m
- Position in which vehicle may wait: Wholly within a marked disabled parking bay
- Class of vehicle: Disabled Badge holders only
- Charging times: Monday to Sunday (inclusive) 10am to 4pm
- Scale of charges: Zero charge
- Maximum period of waiting: No restriction
