The Council has identified a preferred bidder to acquire a 250 year lease for the Bodlondeb offices.
The lease excludes the lawn area, the cricket pitch and tennis courts, as well as the cenotaph.
Within the proposed lease there are areas of open space; the Council has an obligation to inform the public when disposing of open space. A legal notice has been published.
The proposed lease is for the area edged red in Plan 2 where the Council and public would retain rights to pass and re-pass across various areas shown in dark and light blue in Plan 2.
