These census results include statistics about age, household type, ethnicity, national identity, Welsh language skills, health and religion. Where appropriate we have compared the 2011 Census results with data from the last census in 2001, to show how the characteristics of Conwy County Borough's population have changed over the last 10 years.

The key results

  • The proportion of households with dependent children fell slightly to 24.5% (26% in 2001). For Wales, 28.1% of all households contained dependent children, though this proportion has fallen since 2001.
