We introduced a Dog Control Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) in 2020 to help create safer and more welcoming outdoor spaces for dog owners and non-dog owners, and tackle dog fouling issues. 

Following public consultation the proposed Dog Control Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) 2023 was put before Economy and Place Overview and Scrutiny Committee and Cabinet on 19 October 2023 who agreed and made the Order subject to further consultation.
