Hwb for School Governors
In Conwy it is policy that Governors only receive emails from the Local Authority via the Welsh Government Hwb network. Hwb is the digital platform for learning and teaching in Wales. It provides its users with access to a range of centrally-funded, bilingual, digital tools and resources. Hwb provides access to:
- the Curriculum for Wales 2022
- the Curriculum for Wales 2008
- professional learning information
- thousands of bilingual resources
- information about online safety
As a Governor, your clerk can allocate you a Hwb account which will also allow you access to “Microsoft Office 365” and “Google for Education” for free. Details about accessing your Hwb emails can be found here.
Hwb is used by Conwy to store a range of documents and policies to help schools create their own resources in its Education Intranet area. This is also where Governors can access the Conwy Governors’ Hwb. Details about navigating around Conwy’s Hwb can be found here.
