The redevelopment of the former Ysgol Tan y Marian site will bring pupils from Ysgol Babanod Penmaenrhos and Ysgol Iau Tan y Marian together in the newly established Ysgol Sẇn y Don which will provide an all-through 150 capacity Primary School.
Dawnus Construction Ltd were appointed by Conwy County Borough Council’s Cabinet in June 2015 to carry out the work.
The Project will include newly built classrooms to accommodate Foundation Phase pupils, restructure and renovation of the whole School site. The new School will provide vocational teaching areas as well as new grassed and multi-use sports pitches together with new habitat and recreational areas.
Funding for the project is provided on a 50/50 basis by Welsh Government’s 21st Century Schools Programme and from Conwy County Borough Council.
