Conwy in Bloom is a year round campaign which makes our county a cleaner and brighter place to live, work and visit. As a local authority our main aim is to support the town councils entries and encourage more people to get involved to improve their local area. We work with the town councils, support local residents, businesses, schools, and community groups to produce both environmental and horticultural excellence which enhances the local landscape, the environment and the character of Conwy.
Every year Colwyn Bay and Llandudno compete in Wales in Bloom. This is a national campaign set up to embrace the country's beauty and to promote environmentally friendly practices. The winners of Wales in Bloom are often nominated for Britain in Bloom and join finalists from other communities across the country.
We are delighted this year to be able to say that both Llandudno and Colwyn Bay both achieved Gold and 1st place in their categories.
