Removal of No Ball Games Signs

Summary (optional)
Conwy County Borough Council believe play is important and as many of our open spaces as possible should allow children to play freely. Because of this we believe some No Ball Games Signs could be taken down.

If you think there is a No Ball Games sign in your community that should be taken down, please get in touch with CVSC Play Development Team on 01492 523850 or complete the form below and email it to Nathania.scyner@conwy.gov.uk.

Conwy County Borough Council supports children’s right to play as enshrined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. However, when children and young people are playing out we must ask that consideration is shown for other residents in the area.

When a request to remove a No Ball Games sign is made an audit of the area is completed and local residents, the local councillor and local PCSO is consulted before a judgement is made about the removal.
