The County Borough of Conwy (Rhos on Sea Waterfront Project) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) Order 2023
Conwy County Borough Council made the above-named Order under Sections 1 and 2 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will place restrictions on the lengths of road as set out in the Schedules below. A copy of the Order and plans, which will come into operation on 25 August 2023 may be examined on the Council website.
If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date hereof apply to the High Court for this purpose.
Schedule 1 - No waiting at any time
Rhos Promenade
Eastern side:
- From a point 90m south of its junction with Rhos Road, adjacent to Combermere Gardens for a distance of 5 metres in a southerly direction.
Western side:
- From its junction with Cayley Promenade for a distance of 19 metres in a northerly direction.
Rhos Promenade / West Promenade
Eastern side:
- From a point 38m north of its junction with Cayley Promenade for a distance of 96 metres in a southerly direction.
Cayley Promenade
Western side:
- 1. From its junction with Rhos Promenade for a distance of 20 metres in a southerly direction.
- 2. From a point 15 metres north of its junction with Whitehall Road to its junction with West Promenade for a distance of 660 metres in a southerly direction.
Eastern side:
- From a point 17m north east of its junction with Llanerch Road East to its junction with West Promenade, a distance of approximately 130 metres in a south easterly direction.
Whitehall Road
North side:
- From its junction with Cayley Promenade for a distance of 21 metres in a westerly direction.
South side:
- From its junction with Cayley Promenade for a distance of 42 metres in a westerly direction.
Holbeck Road
North side:
- From its junction with Cayley Promenade for a distance of 93 m in a westerly direction
South side:
- From its junction with Cayley Promenade for a distance of 78m in a westerly direction.
Green Road
Both sides:
- From its junction with Holbeck Road for a distance of 13m in a northerly direction.
Ebberston Road East
Both sides:
- From its junction with Cayley Promenade for a distance of 53m in a westerly direction.
Llanerch Road East
Both sides:
- From its junction with Cayley Promenade for a distance of 72m in a westerly direction.
West Promenade
Eastern side:
- 1. from a point 270m south of its junction with Cayley Promenade for a distance of 50 metres in a southerly direction.
- 2. from a point 459m south of its junction with Cayley Promenade for a distance of 25 metres in a south easterly direction.
- 3. from a point 222 metres northwest of its junction with Penrhos Road for a distance of approximately 85m.
Western side:
- from a point 78 metres northwest of its junction with Penrhos Road to its junction with the Cayley Promenade.
Rhos Road
South side:
- from a point 10m west of its junction with Allanson Road for a distance of 20m in an easterly direction.
Allanson Road
Both Sides:
- from its junction with Rhos Road for a distance of 10m in a southerly direction.
