Various Roads - Speed Limits: Notice

Conwy County Borough Council (Various Roads -  Speed Limits) Order 2023

Conwy County Borough Council made the above-named Order under Sections 82(2) 83(2) 84(1) and 84(2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers the effect of which will retain the existing 30mph speed limit on the lengths of road in Schedule 1, place a 30mph speed limit on the roads in Schedule 2 and a 40mph speed limit on the road in Schedule 3. The Orders specified in Schedule 4 will be partially revoked. The Orders in Schedule 5 will be revoked reverting those lengths of road to restricted roads status at 20mph. A copy of the Order and plans, which came into operation on 18 September 2023 may be examined on the Council website.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date hereof apply to the High Court for this purpose.
