Celebrating Youth Work

Conwy County Borough Council is lending its support to Youth Work Week 2024.

This year’s theme is “Why Youth Work?”, to highlight the incredible impact and diversity of youth work across Wales.

Between 23 - 30 June, there will be a diverse array of activities and celebrations hosted online – and that’s on top of the hundreds of activities, projects and initiatives that normally take place week in and week out.

Faye Willet from Conwy Youth Service, said, “Youth Work Week gives us an opportunity to share good practice with other youth workers across the country and it’s a chance to encourage more people to get involved. It also raises awareness amongst young people about the range of activities available for them in Conwy County Borough.”

Conwy’s Youth Service will mark Youth Work Week with a range of activities to suit all tastes from arts and crafts projects, e-bike sessions, to sports activities!

If you’re aged 11–25 and looking for something really interesting and fun to do, visit www.youngconwy.com for more information.
