Minister visits Llanrwst Family Centre

The Welsh Government Minister for Social Partnership, Sarah Murphy, visited Llanrwst Family Centre yesterday (23/05/24).

Conwy County Borough Council’s family centres provide a hub from which services and support for families are provided across the county.

Llanrwst Family Centre is the longest established of Conwy’s four family centres, and is funded through Welsh Government’s Children and Communities Grant.

The Centre also provides a space for other agencies to deliver support to the local community, such as Welfare Rights, Universal Health Visiting Service and School Nursing offering drop in services.

Hannah Fleck, Service Manager said, “The opportunity to showcase the work with the community from the Llanrwst Family Centre is greatly appreciated. Having been in the community for twenty years the space has evolved to meet the needs of the community as they shared their expectations and hopes with us. We look forward to continuing to provide support to all the families in our community, be they in Llanrwst or further afield.”
