Over 250 children and their families enjoyed a day of family-friendly fun.
The free event, located on the beach at Colwyn Bay, has been organised by the leisure development team since 2016. This year enjoyed good weather and bumper attendance.
It was an action-packed day, encouraging children to be active and healthy. Offering a diverse range of sports, highlighting the many opportunities available in the county of Conwy.
Sports included: cycling, golf, rounders, volleyball, cricket, hockey, boccia, wheelchair basketball, plus fitness challenges and sessions from the Swim Safe and Play Development teams.
Caroline Jones, Leisure Development Manager, said: “The event was a huge success, with lots of youngsters taking part in a whole host of free activities.
“The feedback has been really positive, with many saying what a lovely day they had.
“We hope everyone enjoyed taking part in the activities and will now take the opportunity to get involved further in either community club settings or through the programmes we deliver across the county, such as Wales Golf, Cricket Wales, and Clwb Hoci Eirias, who kindly joined us on the day.”
