Under 25s invited to get involved
Conwy Youth Service is looking for young people to get involved in issues affecting them in Conwy County Borough.
The Conwy Youth Council is growing, and there are spaces available on the Youth Council for young people aged 13-25 to discuss the issues that affect them and their community.
Catherine Davies, Accreditation Development Worker for Conwy Youth Service, said, “Conwy Youth Council is about young people having a voice and making decisions on projects to improve life for all children and young people in Conwy. It’s an opportunity to be part of a bigger picture and having a say on issues that impact young people.”
The Youth Service is also eager to hear from young people who have experience of living in temporary housing, being homeless, or who want to be part of improving housing, to join a new group.
Faye Willet, Youth Homeless Co-ordinator for Conwy Youth Service, said, “One of the Council’s priorities is that people in Conwy have affordable, good quality accommodation that meets their needs and improves their lives. It’s important that young people can be part of this work, and this new group will help make sure their voices are heard.”
