  1. An election is to be held for a Member of Parliament to serve the above mentioned Constituency.
  2. Nomination papers may be obtained at the place mentioned below. The (Acting) Returning Officer will, at the request of any elector, prepare for signature a nomination paper.
  3. Nomination Papers must be delivered by prior appointment to the (Acting) Returning Officer at Bodlondeb, Bangor Road, Conwy, LL32 8DU, between the hours of 10am and 4pm on any working day (Monday to Friday) after the date of this notice but not later than 4pm on Friday, 7 June 2024.
  4. A deposit of £500 for each candidate must be paid either in cash, bankers draft (banks operating in the United Kingdom only) or by direct bank transfer. Bankers drafts must be made payable to Conwy County Borough Council.
  5. If the election is contested, the poll will take place on Thursday, 4 July 2024.
  6. Applications to be added to the Register of Electors in order to vote at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Bodlondeb Conwy, LL32 8DU by Tuesday, 18 June 2024. Applications can be made online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.
  7. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday, 19 June 2024. Applications can be made online at www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote.
  8. Applications to appoint a proxy must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday, 26 June 2024. Applications can be made online at www.gov.uk/apply-proxy-vote.
  9. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday, 26 June 2024. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate can be made online at www.gov.uk/apply-for-photo-id-voter-authority-certificate.
  10. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election on the grounds of physical incapacity or for work / service reasons must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Thursday, 4 July 2024. The physical incapacity must have occurred after 5pm on Wednesday, 26 June 2024. To apply on the grounds of work / service, the person must have become aware that they cannot go to the polling station in person after 5pm on Wednesday, 26 June 2024.
