UK Parliamentary Election (General Election): 4 July 2024
Members of Parliament split their time between work at the Houses of Parliament in London and local work in the area they represent.
A General Election has been called for 4 July 2024. In General Elections you can vote to elect your local Member of Parliament.
Residents of Conwy fall into two constituencies:
- Bangor Aberconwy
- Clwyd North
Conwy County Borough Council administers the Bangor Aberconwy constituency election, and Denbighshire County Council administers the Clwyd North constituency election.

Important dates
Voting
To vote in a General Election, you must be:
- Registered to vote
- 18 years or over on polling day
- British citizen, an Irish, Commonwealth. European Union citizen or foreign citizen who has leave to enter or remain in the UK, or who does not require such leave
- Not be subject to any legal incapacity to vote
Voter ID
