This 293 mile route is a tough, high level coast to coast walk through wildest Wales, incorporating 46 mountain summits.

This path is managed and maintained by the Cambrian Way Trust and Ramblers Cymru.

What kind of walk is it?

  • Terrain: often rough and steep, snow-covered in winter/spring
  • Distance: The route is 293 miles / 455 kilometres in total length, although you can divide this into sections
  • Walk grading: strenuous and challenging, good map reading and navigation skills required
