Child abuse can happen in different ways and is always wrong.Often, people abuse others because they want power and control over them, but it is important to remember that it is not your fault or because of anything that you did.

If you feel that you are being abused it is important that you tell someone. This could be a family member, a school teacher, a social worker, the Police or someone else that you trust. They will be able to help you deal with whatever you’re going through.

The abuse could be taking place at home, or somewhere else that you spend time. It could be happening when you use the internet or your mobile phone.
