Course aims and objectives:
Understanding hand hygiene principles and the importance of timely and effective hand washing is an integral part of Infection Control standard precautions. This course helps to improve hand hygiene practice by challenging attitudes and encouraging the changing of behaviours and convey key learning points to you.
The film is set in a clinical environment but the procedures can be applied to Care Home and Domiciliary Care settings.
Course details:
Duration of course: 30 minutes including Assessment Quiz
- Watch through each video chapter. You will need to answer the questions within a chapter correctly, then submit your answers at the end of the chapter to complete it.
- Once you have completed all available chapters, you will be able to take the Assessment Quiz and complete the Feedback form.
- A PDF Certification of Completion showing the Learner’s name, date of submission and pass mark can be sent to Managers by request to sc.training@conwy.gov.uk.
Completing the course can count towards evidence needed for Continuing Professional Development for re-registration requirements and contribute towards the underpinning knowledge for All Wales Induction Framework for Health & Social Care and QCF.
