Towyn Revetment (by Golden Sands holiday park)

Cross section of rock armour:
Towyn Revement Coastal Defence Proposals

  • Increase the existing rock armour
  • Raise the existing seawall, up to approximately 0.75m (2.5 feet) above the existing seawall
  • Adapting the existing rock armour, and reusing and repurposing material where possible, will minimise the economic and environmental costs of the new defence.
