The Charter was established by the Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management (ICCM), an organisation committed to developing and improving bereavement services and providing training for those who work within it.
As a member of the Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management, we operate to the standards of service laid out in the Charter for the Bereaved. This defines the rights of everyone who experiences bereavement, and sets standards of service for burial, cremation and funerals.
The rights in this Charter are available at all Conwy County Borough Council cemeteries and at Colwyn Bay Crematorium.
