Proposed work at Coed Cae Coch Quarry
Additional pipes under the road and a screen to remove rocks from the flow
There are two main problems here:
- the pipes are too small for the flow
- the flow carries a lot of large rocks
We will provide a facility that will pour the flow through a sloping screen, so that the rocks get diverted to the side. The pipe under the quarry access will be enlarged. We can’t make the pipe under the road bigger because of a power cable, so we will add two new pipes next to the existing one
