Course details:
This course is designed to introduce staff to GPS devices that can be provided to people through Conwy Telecare to help support their safety and independence. Attendees may have particular situations in mind that they would like to bring to the training.

Course aims and objectives:
Following the session staff will be able to :-
- State the rationale and benefits of using GPS devices.
- Identify individuals for whom the equipment would be most beneficial and circumstances where it would be inappropriate.
- Apply GPS solutions to the associated risk.
- Identify key features and benefits of GPS.
- Understand how to refer to Conwy Telecare for a GPS assessment and accurately complete a referral form.
